We know many Harnett County school families are waiting to see what the board’s final decision is regarding in person schooling. You can enroll your child in the Inde SASP program and modify or withdrawal enrollment until August 10th without penalty. After August 10th, our normal withdrawal policy is in place.¬†
This program is for children Kindergarten through 6th grade enrolled in homeschool, NC Public Schools and attending part time, or the NC Virtual Connect (all virtual learning) program.

Inde Nature School Mornings: Outback on six acres, mostly outside, utilizing the Inde Nature School building if needed.
8:30-9am: Morning Meeting
9am-10am: Science experiments/ Art / Social Studies Activity
10am: Snack
10am-10:30am: Organized PE Activity (yoga, obstacle course, soccer etc)
10:30am-11:00am: Book Club (age appropriate reading time, discussion with a peer on book, reading aloud to teacher)
11am-11:30am: Nature Exploration/Nature Journal
11:30am: Prepare for lunch
12pm: Lunch
12:30pm-1pm: Free Time
Come into classroom (thoroughly sanitized before and after use):
1pm-3pm: Study Hall – must bring all items (computer, paper packets) for the teacher to facilitate their virtual learning experience. The teachers will add and assist as needed.
Two days a week: Spanish from 1-1:45pm

All children will need a water bottle, snack, lunch, change of clothes, rain boots, sunscreen and bug spray daily.
