Once your application is submitted your child’s application will be reviewed. You’ll receive an email confirmation with the status of the application. If there is immediate availability and we are able to offer enrollment, you will receive an emailed offer of admission. There will be a time sensitive response period to accept your child’s spot. You will receive a phone call within 48 business hours of the emailed offer should we not hear from you within that time. If we are full, your child will be placed in the Waiting Pool, (further information on that process is below).
When enrollment is accepted, your child’s teacher will be in touch with classroom information. Administration will email any additional paperwork needed to complete your child’s packet.
Waiting Pool Information:
Teachers’ children are automatically moved into available spots after a successful trial.
Children already enrolled at IA (e.g., a child moving from The Flower Rooms and The Tree Rooms) will have priority over new children to move to the next level.
Siblings of children already enrolled in the school are automatically moved into available spots after a successful trial/visit (after teachers’ children).
New children’s applications go in the waiting pool for each program. Once the application and fee are submitted, it is reviewed by admissions. Please allow at least 48 hours for review. We strive to maintain balance within each of our classrooms in regards to multiple criteria including a balance of ages, gender, and Montessori and Reggio experience. Application date is also taken into consideration. Once an application is reviewed, parents are notified of further steps via email. A trial day(s) may be requested for children in the waiting pool as spaces become available. If offered enrollment, parents have 48 hours to accept and complete the enrollment process.
Fees to Apply and Enroll:
$75 application fee is due at the time of submitting your application. This is a non-refundable application processing fee.
Resource Fee will be due at the time of enrollment.
